J-Man: Golf Pro

My friend Laura recently asked me to take some photos of her adorable little boy, Jackson, for his golf themed birthday party invitations. We headed out to the Colonial Country Club with J-Man toting his miniature golf clubs and donning his legit Masters polo. This little guy is so hilariously cute and sweet. The Millers are such a great family. They are the kind of people that make me want to do this forever. Below are some of my favorites from the afternoon:

Rebecca and Lance

Rebecca and Lance met in college a couple of years ago. They are such an awesome pair. Lance was a serious trooper while taking these photos and was even willing at one point to climb a tree: my kind of subject :) We had a great time at Brandon Hall out on the Natchez Trace where they will be getting married in the next year. I don't think I've ever taken photos in a more lovely setting. I'm betting that their wedding is going to be extraordinarily beautiful, and that Rebecca is going to be a drop dead gorgeous bride. We luckily had fantastic weather for these photos. I'm looking forward to hanging out with these guys again soon. Perhaps at Fat Mama's? Jex Family

My husband's brother Zach, his wife Shannon, and their only son Austin make up a beautiful trio. Austin is one of the most precious little people I have ever met. His kind of cuteness is truly rare. His cheeks alone could make you buckle at the knees with an overwhelming need to squeeze and smooch him. I was so excited when we finally nailed down a date to take these. Fortunately we chose an absolutely gorgeous day to go. It seems since I started taking photos for other people that I rarely schedule these shoots on pretty days. I felt so lucky to be taking photos of this gorgeous family, on a gorgeous day, AND in my favorite place to take photos (Natchez). We had a wonderful afternoon. I especially love the ones of Austin with the rocking chair (chair was Zach's when he was little). When I finally made it through these images, I couldn't believe how many I loved. Brinson Family Preview

Before today I had never met the sweet Brinson family. They were wonderful. They became a family of three 12 weeks ago with the addition of their little boy Hayes. It's always great to see new parents that are so loving and attentive to each other and their new baby. Liz and Matthew seem like an amazing parental team. Between "that sway thing" that Matthew does to sweetly soothe Hayes, and Liz turning on the faucet in the kitchen on full blast so that the white noise sound it produced could calm the baby (which worked like magic, by the way) I was thoroughly impressed by their teamwork. Hayes is a very lucky baby. He also happens to be absolutely ADORABLE. Below are just a couple of photos from the shoot that I couldn't help but share. I'm looking forward to sharing their slideshow soon.
